The highly equipped computerized & digital laboratory has got all the facilities to conduct Physical tests on all types of building materials, as per relevant Indian Standard Code of practice.
HTCTL has the capacity to perform types of routine and advanced Geotechnical investigations which are performed by geotechnical engineers to obtain information on the physical properties of soil and rock around a site to design earthworks and foundations for proposed structures and for repair of distress to earthworks and structures caused by subsurface conditions. This type of investigation is called a site investigation. A geotechnical investigation will include surface exploration and subsurface exploration of a site. Sometimes, geophysical methods are used to obtain data about sites. Subsurface exploration usually involves soil sampling and laboratory tests of the soil samples retrieved.
To obtain information about the soil conditions below the surface, some form of subsurface exploration is required. Methods of observing the soils below the surface, obtaining samples, and determining physical properties of the soils and rocks include test pits, trenching (particularly for locating faults and slide planes), boring, and in situ tests.
Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and technology industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research.
HTCTL is equipped with Following NDT test facilities.
Different types of materials are used for construction purpose. These materials need to be tested for quality and to get specifications. This quality of materials ensures stability of structure and specifications are used to get required amount of material.
HTCTL serves in material testing activities through the course of time by delivering reliable and accurate test parameters. All the tests are performed by a highly qualified and experienced team according to relevant Standards and Specifications.
